Killer 7

Post by hybridtheory »

Who has played it? I think it is pretty good despite the gameplay being really rudimentery. The sound design is very abstract it's beautiful. It's very brutal and gritty. I like the art style and it's irking just with oddness but yet feels familar you know what to do but it'll look confusing to people who aren't playing it. It's so rando mand post-modern that it's just good. It's not for the causauls though.

I really like killer7. There's a genuine sense of panic when several Heaven's Smiles are closing in, as there's no auto aim, you can't move and shoot, and picking up the body with Harman isn't any fun, so you're desperate to survive. The puzzles and bosses are generally quite clever, although, some are very obvious, and you might find ones that are hard to figure out due to them being tied to cultural refrences like Feng Shui (Abenobashi helped me remember that one). The plot and characters are very odd, but it only adds a sense of satisfaction when you finally understand it. I'd really recommend the game to fans of unusual Action games, such as Kojima's.

This is just a repost of what I posted at gamefaqs a couple days ago.
My copy of Hand in Killer 7 arrived yesterday (along with other non videogame related merchandise heh heh.),and I noticed a certain scene that looks like it could be a sequence of events showing you how Curtis, the surger killed Dan awhile back.

Hah hah check out the identification of the trick that got popped point blank in the face in the begining of Encounter.

The following are scenes that should be familiar to those of you who have been keeping a close eye on Killer 7 ever since it began development when it was part of the capcom 5.

It turns out that the man who handed Harman Smith his fedora was actually man named Dimitri Nightmare, and not Johnny Gagnon. (Though I have no idea how the hell you're suppose to know that since the game made no mention of Dimitri at all.)

Seems like Coyote & Dan were suppose to have some kind of rivalry with each other.
Or at least I assume so,because Coyote is labeled the "Villain of Hellion".

Here's a blurry ass scan of the Killer 7 timeline that ShockleyHaynes said Rinden was going to translate.
It begins at 1750,and ends at 2171.

You can see the rest of these scans at this url

I'd link to the thread, but I have no idea what the url is.
