Sega CD Snatcher...
Sega CD Snatcher...
I was wondering if there was a way to take my ISO/ROM I have on my computer and put them on a CD I could play on my Sega CD. Or if I could burn a copy of my Snatcher disk and use that?

You can (my copy of Sonic CD was given to me for free, and it was very dodgy looking), but I don't know the exact procedure. I think you have to download a program called Alcohol 120%, or something, though. Look for some instructions on burning DreamCast ISOs (they're the most popularly ripped, I think), Sega CD games should be just the same.

If you've got a real Sega CD copy of Snatcher, just burn a copy of that if you're trying to protect the original.
On the other hand, if all you have is an ISO, just burn it straight to a CD using your favorite burning software. I recommend Alcohol 120% but it's something like $50. I don't even think you have to close the CD session or anything fancy like that, just burn it straight and it should run. The Sega CD doesn't have any copy protection, nor region protection I don't think. Back when it came out CD burners weren't commonplace, hehehe.

To burn it to a CD with sound correctly so it will play you'll need a cue generator, a way to convert the sound if it's in MP3 format to WAV, and a burner that will burn CUE files (I reccomend Nero)
What you'll need to do is first name all the files correctly, for example
Snatcher.iso
Snatcher01.mp3
Snatcher02.mp3
etc...
Next convert all the MP3 files to WAVs, make sure they retain the same name, if you want you can convert first and then rename but it's basically preference.
Once you've done this remove all the files in the directory but the wav and iso files, or simply move those file mentioned to their own directory. Run the Sega CUE maker on this directory and it'll make a CUE file telling it to burn the audio as audio and that data as data and not all one way or the other.
After that you open up Nero, go to burn image, select the CUE file and burn that puppy onto a disc. Pop it into your Sega CD and enjoy.
Here are links to where you can download all of the neccessary stuff
Nero:
www.nero.com
MP3/WAV:
You can use Winamp if you have it, if not...

SegaCUE Maker:
Works on Sega Saturn or Sega CD

If you have any problems with that feel free to ask, rather skilled as far as emulation and similar stuff goes

I was driving down the highway in the fast lane with a rabid wolverene in my underwear when suddenly a guy behind me in the backseat jumped right up and put his hands across my eyes....
