Z.O.E The untouched marvel
I love the ZOE games and films, its one of the few great series that hasn't resulted in rip off and cheese for one simple reason. The game is a very very good niche
MGS RELIVES YESTERDAY TO SURVIVE TOMMOROW

The enemies we fight are only enemies in relative terms

You should.. Anubis (ZOE2) improved at leat half over the first one in every single way... I simply love it. It is one of those games that you can simply grab and enjoy for the gameplay alone.. or you can go into the full plot and finish the whole thing out of fun...Ninja Kurosai wrote:I love the first one, but I havnt had the chance to pick up the 2nd one. Next time I see it im definatly snatching it up
Truly a great game...

I couldn't believe that I was seeing ZOE footage in TS... and they swapped the poster. Not having a Policenauts reference in a Kojima game is like... well, it not being a Kojima game. Which it isn't really, cynical as it sounds TS had Kojima's name tagged onto it, and was something SK could do while the Kojima team were busy with MGS3.

most of all his past game ref's in the metal gear games are becoming more than refs but clues that the Patriots are KCEJ. Kojima may have played the snatcher end theme at the title screen but thats not his style at all among everything. And the screen blacking out at mantis's boss encounter ect. I think hideo's been building the Patriots since metal gear solid 1.

I have to agree here.. it is reading much between the lines... we would have to say that Metal Gear telling you to raise the volume in Snatcvher is also an act of the Patriots... =P
I'd rather say that Kojima has always loved to "play" with the audience at different levels... make the games self consicous and auto referential, as well as use the digital medium to its max.

Actually, the Hideo is a play on certain TV sets that have the be put on the Video setting to detect the PS. In the corner of the TV when you switch to this with no input it would say VIDEO and the screen would be black, so Kojima was making it seem like the PS got disconnected.
The same is done in MGS2 making it seem like you got a game over in the Tengu battle.

Okay, maybe I'm about nine months late responding here, but one little cutscene of a game that most Americans and Europeans will probably never end up playing (certainly not in their native tongue) is not the biggest disgrace performed by Silicon Knights in the creation of Twin Snakes. It doesn't even deserve a spot in the top ten. It's insignificant. I think most gamers would be just as well off never knowing of the game's existence. Ignorance is bliss, after all.Snake Plissken wrote:I just got pissed off that in the twin snakes remake ZOE replaced all its traces of Policenauts compared to the original PSX release. This peeves me cause people need to know about how awsome policenauts was, newer gamers ya know that probly won't play the original.
