With the online connection capabiliteis with the Playstation 2. Iwas wondering what if it was restricted to certain internet services. the way xbox is.
if so can someone fill me in as to what they are and if there are any other limitations.
because i want to play the new metal gear online but i dont know if my computer is compatible or not.[/b][/quote]

Compatible? You just need broadband and a network adapter.

its just that whenn we were trialing xbox live it wouldnt work with the online service that we had.

Hmm. No idea about X-Box Live, but with the PS2 I found it ridiculously simple to set up.
No complications thus far, either.

Just set the networks adapter up then insert the network disc the rest should be very easy and you don´t need to play like Xbox Live
