Another Snatcher music thingy...

Post by Snatcher2047 »

Maybe Artemio can help me out with this one, or someone else has the answer. I just want to get my info straight on a few things I can't figure out.

I've been trying to figure something out about two Snatcher game music tracks, that being what their exact title is.

Here's the first one:
http://www.jjau.8m.com/kremlin/mp3/investigate.mp3

I think this is either called "Creeping Silence" or "Criminal Omen" because a variation of this track is played on the Snatcher Radio Play disc and the track title is listed as follows:

6. [JAPANESE TITLE]
-Creeping Silence
-Criminal Omen
-Danger Dance...& Justice All

Now I could go in order of the music tracks played (I know which one is DD&JA on the track) but a few of the tracks on the CD don't play the tracks in the order they are listed, and Track 6 is no exception. Even though DD&JA is listed last, it's the first music played on the track, followed by the music piece in question than another track I'm not too familiar with, but I believe is the equivalent of the SEGA CD versions' shooting sequence theme. Which would then answer what the name of the shooting seqence theme is as well.

So is this correct?:
Mp3 above = Creeping Silence
Shooting Theme = Criminal Omen

EDIT: It's come to my attention that there is a 4th music piece played on Track 6, which I believe is the music played in the Kremlin right when Metal Gear reappears and is strapped with the detenators for the phased particle beam. So now I'm really confused on this issue.

========================================

The other track in question is this one :
http://www.jjau.8m.com/kremlin/mp3/plea ... nsion2.wav

On the SCC Joint Disc, a variation of this track is played in Track 27: Pleasure Of Tension.
But a variation of it is also played on the Radio Play disc track 16 which is listed like this:

16. [JAPANESE TITLE]
-Restoration
-Preasur Of Tension (Pleasure Of Tension)
-Endless Pursuer

On that track, the first two titles play (and I know Restoration and Pleasure Of Tension by heart) and then the variation of the mp3 above plays.

So the question for this one would be:
Is that mp3 above called "Endless Pursuer" or would you call it "Pleasure Of Tension, Part 2"?

Thanks for any help.

The first track

I'd say it is criminal omen. I'd go for the order it is in. But unfortunately elsewheer it is simply: DANGER DANCE・・・& JUSTICE ALL (in the Joint Disk). The title in Japanese of that track you mention on the SNATCHER soundtrack is: 遭遇 謎のバイオロイド , which is somethinmg like (someone with more japanese knowledge please correct me) Encounter Bioroid Enigma.

Let me check the second one.

Regarding the second track, I would go by the cannonical PLEASURE OF TENSION, since it is the original title.. although this part was omited from later cuts of the track, or following the previous logic, Endless Pursuer, which would be appropiate given the order and what is going on during the recording, since it is not restoration. The title in Japanese (fow whatever it is worth) is: 死闘 暴かれた真実 (Struggle to the death, diclosure of truth)

I didn't even realise that part was played on that track there. I'm gonna check it now. (Yes, it does and it even plays the shooting theme on that track as well. So that's DD&JA as well?... my head hurts. :o)

I think I'll go with Endless Pursuer for the second track when I list it on my site from now on. Kind of makes it stand out on it's own, I think.

Thanks for all your help by the way. :D
