Just browsed through the script
Lots of interesting stuff in the script I never knew about. Seems like you can get some answers from chief Cunningham about your and Jamie's data on Jordan being classified if you talk to him around the time you're hunting around for Katrina. At the very end of the script there seems to be bits of dialogue where Gillian is referred to by different military ranks. What defines those?

Re: Just browsed through the script
Did you use the HTML one? If so (or if you didn't) what could be improved?
Yes taht si true, I also found about that until I dumped the script.. mainly I did it to find if there was more stuff than I found.. and there was.Crowley wrote:Lots of interesting stuff in the script I never knew about. I've always believed it is for your shooting.. how well you do it. Also, what you achieve at Junker's eye.. whose difficulty setting varies a lot if you do pretty good. Maybe a no continues game does egt you a better ranking too, since the game does count some of those.. =) (and I love that)Crowley wrote:At the very end of the script there seems to be bits of dialogue where Gillian is referred to by different military ranks. I always thought it was based on the trivia in the beginning of Act 3.Snatcher wrote:I've always believed it is for your shooting.. how well you do it. I'm not so sure. Last time I played through Snatcher, I got up to the highest level on the Junker's Eye (although I haven't gotten a perfect on that level yet), got all the questions right, and didn't die once during the game (including the final insectors
) but still only got the Captain's rank at the end of the game, which is only one higher than Second Lt. I got that rank one other games when I did die a couple of times, and didn't really bother with the Junker's Eye.
??:

He doesn't. The Chief really admits that he has no information about the contents of the Seed files.Crowley wrote:I got to playing Snatcher again, and something doesn't quite match: Mika says that the security clearance necessary for viewing the Seed files is above even Chief Cunningham. So how exactly does he know about their contents?

*even though everyone who cared about the game at this point probably downloaded ISO, assuming they didn't have the actual Sega CD game or any of the other versions.

About the ranks, I happened to read the EGM interview with Yoshinori Sasaki, and he mentions this:
I guess that means how well you answer Metal's questions at the beginning of Act 3.Q: Were any changes made to the story?
YS: No. The ending part has been changed somewhat. There aren't multiple endings, but you are graded for how well you solved the mysteries. Plus Act 3 has been altered significantly. We weren't totally pleased with the PC-Engine version since it was too movie-like--just sit and watch. We wanted to avoid that and changed Act 3 a lot so it would be a lot more interactive as a game. We added a few more forks and choices to Act 3.

What EGM is that? I can't believed I missed such an interview....
I would rather think that it means how much clues you got, as in how much stuff you did that give information, rather than answering. The questions are not difficult at all, so it is rather difficult to answer them wrong.
