Insector inspiration

Post by Ninja Kurosai »

Im about 95% positive that the Insectors were taken from the 1984 film Runaway, with Tom Selleck and Gene Simmons. The movie is about this cop in the future tracking down a serial killer (or drug smuggler, i can't remember which) who uses a gun that has bullets with the victims DNA imprinted, so it tracks them down after being shot. He uses also these robotic spiders with needles that inject acid into you. A great movie, VERY underrated. It occasionaly comes on Cinemax, my copy was recorded in about '88 and I still must use that one becuase it's very hard to find on dvd.
