Nope, this isn't about Jeremy Blaustein! He didn't translate Snatcher, remember? He was the localizer! And damn it, there's a difference!
I was on the hunt for the Incubate: Biohazard 4 book + DVD and I found it for sale on a site called HobbyLinkJapan (http://www.hlj.com). I bought it, and noticed a familiar name at the bottom of my confirmation email. "Scott T. Hards". I recognized the name immediately as I had seen it before in the credits of SCD Snatcher. Oh yes- the guy who had translated it! How marvelous!, I thought. How interesting. He's a businessman now! From ace translator to online entrepeneur! Good for him! I'm going to give him as much of my JP-import business as I can, since his prices are reasonable too!
What Snatcher's translator is up to nowadays
