Hi there.
I currently playing Snatcher emulated on my PC with Gens and I'm stuck at the catheral with the insectors. I keep dying and I can't get past them due to my not having the light gun and it's tough as nails to get past them with keyboard keys.
My question is does anybody know of any cheats for God mode or better still does anyone have the game genie codes that I could put in using the Gens version of it, if it all they ever got released.
I really would apprieciate an invincible cheat 'cos I can't go any further without them and I've searched every where and all I find or JORDAN names or videophone numbers!
Thx!

You should buy a controller for your pc and try beating with that, it feels alot better knowing you beat the game by yourself and without a code.

Thanks but that's not helpful! I've completed the game loads when I had my sega CD. A control pad wouldn't help it's just the same as keys to me.
Come on someone help 'cos i'm stuck without it! Or at least tell me there's no god cheat or something

I think there's a Trainer you can use with GENS for infinite health. There are no Game Genie or in-game codes for infinite health.

That's useful thanks! You wouldn't happen to know where I can find the trainer and how to work it thx!

You can get two of the Trainers here:
http://snatcher100.home.att.net/emu.html I don't know how to use them though.

When I originally played the game on my Sega CD, I had an auto controller. Somewhere else in the forum, someone suggested continuously tapping the Fire button while concentrating on aiming. This method worked for me. In addition, it's ok to die and use the Continue function - Dying doesn't affect the ending or gameplay. The only other suggestion is to buy a PC controller - The mid-range ones usually come with a program that lets you set keys for games that normally don't have controller support.
Don't worry, though - You'll get through it eventually, and it's all downhill after the Mega Insector fight.

Thanks a bundle Reborn. I have version 2.11 though and the trainer didn't work, so I'll have to play through it all again, ohh the horror!

Thx for the tip Kojima!

You don't need to replay the game again, you can just copy and paste the BRAM file from the GENS 2.11 folder to the GENS 2.00 folder.

You're a star thanks a million, I'll try that when I get home. Cheers!

Yeah, when I first played the game years ago it took me a ton of tries to do this but when I replayed recently and just kept tapping fire I've never failed. Stick at it anyway, it's satisfying and the reward is so worth it.

Actually, yes it does.

How so? Though there are minor Secrets, such as alternate responses and whatnot, dying has never affected the actual progression of the story or gameplay.

About the trainer... I was about to suggest it actually, LOL -- because I know the guy that coded it.

Yeah I'd say use the little trainer for that..or in my case rapidly hit the fire button and move the cursor around. Kinda like a mini-gun affect ahaha.

yeah, I've tried it - can't get any joy out of it at all! Do you know the exact Gens version and trainer version you need to use in order for it to work?

Okay, first download the updated Snatcher Trainer for GENS 2.00 from here:
http://snatcher100.home.att.net/emu.html. Unzip the Trainer, then open it, and activate the Infinite Health. Go to the GENS homepage (there's a link to it in the page I linked to above,) and download GENS version 2.00. If you were using a different version of GENS, copy and paste the Snatcher BRAM file from the version you were using to the GENS 2.00 folder (otherwise, you'll have to play all the way through Snatcher again.

)
When using the Trainer, you'll lose some health the first time Gillian takes a hit, but after that, your health won't go down.
Hope that helps.

Okay, first of all - REALLY sorry to bump an old topic, but I'd like to know where I can find this trainer. I've tried the link but unfortunately it says that the content is blocked for some reason. Does anyone have the trainer?

Nah, still no such luck. I've been searching around but everything keeps leading back to that one page.
