Very impressive to see them all together like that.
Are there any Snatcher items you know of which you don't have? (Did they make a Japanese Mega CD version, for example?)

They didn't. That version was made specifically for the western market.

After CD-ROMantic, they only released the PS and Saturn versions in Japan.

Thanks ^^

Mhh aside from the toys that are pictured in the SD Snatcher materials (which of course were not commercialy available), no.. I don't know of anything else I am missing (except for one or two spine cards).

I do feel good about this collection.. it is the only one I really care about, and one I though I would never see reach this point. If it were not for James and Takamichi, it wouldn't have been possible at all.

There was also a Metal Gear D resin kit, which Konami used on ads for the game and was featured in Metal Gear Solid Naked.

That probably sits in Kojimas office now, come to think of it, from what i have seenof his office, there isnt much to do with Snatcher, possibly because not that much was made, but still....

You have this tendency to make me go and browse books at 6am in the morning.....

I searched the book for that model, and I believe I found it. Is it the one at almost the beginning of the book that's to the tight of the Ray and rex resins? Was that really used on Snatcher ads? I could only read that it was a resin and that's about all I found under the pic (I don't know the Kanji down there).

I've assumed you would've figured out I meant Metal Gear 2 ads, not Snatcher.

There's scans of four of them in the following page, along with other Konami MSX stuff.

BTW, do you know where the following image comes from. It's a size comparison between the original Metal Gear, D, Mark-II and Petit. Seems very pre-MGS.

I sure did.. but my clouded brain assumed that maybe you had some little tidbit of Snatcher related info I didn't know about.. and it made sense to ask in that way =P

No idea, I believe I've seen part of it but never with the right side showing the Mark-II and petit models. I'll search but I am sure it would have catched my attention if I'd seen it before.

Hey Snatcher looks good,

But is that my KEY CHAIN in the new image - or did you finally get your hands on it yourself - it looks like it's lying there!

Also I saw a Mega CD Snatcher Spine Card on eBay a while back for £15 - just the card. I dont think I got one with mine when I bought it from a store, new in around 1995. tut.

If thats the one I scanned for you, (which it seems to be) would you mind crediting me again? - purely for the fact that I'm the envy of all my snatcher loving friends

(Jon Price, Devon UK)

If it's not - then no worries. Ta.

I got my dirty claws on mine. I had been looking for a while, and when I saw yours I was alerady in the process of aquiring mine. SO the one in that picture, is the one I got as everything else in the image. For the record, it has no digital editing at all, so what you see is what was on my bed this sunday.

I did give you credit anyway, on the main Snatcher page. Hey, it was the first image of the Keychain. ^^

About the spine, I saw that too.. the first one I ever see and I'd never heard of one either... odd thing, we'll see if more appear there.

Take care!

Hey, thats really cool that you've got one now... nice one - that must of taken some finding -how much did you pay for the item alone?

I'd never seen the PAL Mega CD Spine either - strange. I think its because of the packing that's removed before shelving the cases here in the UK.

Don't ask the man that =)

Nice one Artemio, it was my pleasure helping you, I have to say; and seeing it all there, why I feel proud of the set too =)

Thanks for your help again James, I am really glad we could complete that collection pal, and I am proud I had yours and Takamichi's help.
