i think them saying "A real life version of the Matrix" is more of a gimick, if not something to show us what it will be like. If anything, i would say the end profuct will be closer to a booth that you sit in that would help the senses with maybe a screen all the way round, so it is closer to a #d enviroment....if you know what i mean.... :shock:

Oh, I saw this on another news site, I forget which one.
Basically, Sony has patented a device which can affect the neural timings in the human mind (via ultrasound I think), which can result in the affected person seeing images and hearing sounds. Right now it's a head-mounted device, but they might find other ways to do it. I do not believe they have it working with any terribly high amount of clarity, but it's an interesting start.

Hmm, this has alot of potential. i can just imagine this being implimented into TVs. Food Network would be one of the most popular channels. Animal Planet, on the other hand, whew...
