PC-98 End Credits Question

I was recently playing the PC-98 version and I noticed that the "End Title" song is roughly 5:12 long but the actual credits aren't that long. Does anyone know where/when the "End Title" track is actually supposed to begin playing? Judging by the length, it almost seems it's supposed to start when Jonathan rests his head against his chair in the end but that seems a bit too early for it to start....

The game probably locks at the end of the Staff Roll while the music continues to play. I believe it displays somthing like "Developed and Published by Konami Co., Ltd." (in Japanese of course) and stops once the text is centered. The same happens with Snatcher on PC-8801 where the Credits end far before the music even gets to its ending loop.

Yup that's exactly what happens. I forgot that the PC-88 version of Snatcher seems to do the same. Thanks for confirming what I was thinking. Just wanted to make sure before I eventually post the video of the end credits
