on monday there was the MGS4 Completion Event and at its end there were some intressting thinks to here!
The event has come to an end, so we'll be closing off this mini blog here. Check back later tonight for more details along with pictures from the event.

But wait! There's more! Just before telling everyone to leave, a voice appears in the background hinting at a surprise on launch day. "Akihabara, New York, LA -- worldwide live broadcast."

Then the same voice mentions some sort of project, along with the word "sequel."

Hmm....

We're not sure what Konami and Kojima are hinting at, but we hope they let us know, at least about the launch day surprise, some time before 6/12.

Live, simultaneously throughout the world...

The VIP's are happy to participate.

So on June 12th...
By the way, what should we do about "The Project?"
Yes, that's correct.
That man has fallen.
It's about the sequel.
Yes, indeed.

Apparently, he wants to do another ZOE.
Hideo Kojima wrote:I would like to say that Zone of the Enders is quite near the priority list… [after MGS4] it might be good to change to outer space or robots or things like that for a change

I believe he suggested to IGN a little while ago, that he didn't want to get too involved in any future ZOE games, and would likely only work as a Producer on them.

"Project S" (a series of collaborations between Kojima and Grasshopper Manufacture's Goichi Suda, working on the Snatcher series) is probably "The Project" that was referenced, though.
