Kojima Productions planning worldwide game-signing tour

Just read this on IGN-
IGN.com wrote:...Kojima and key staff members will travel the world as the June 12 launch day approaches, holding talk events and signings for fans. The tour will take Kojima and crew first to London, followed by stops in Madrid, Milano, Hamburg, Amsterdam, and Paris. The team will then split into three, heading to Japan, New York and Los Angeles for launch day.

Closing off a press conference today in Tokyo, where this plan was first unveiled, Konami hinted at a few surprises for launch and beyond. At the end of the ceremony, as the press was getting ready to leave, a mysterious voice asked, "Will there be surprises on launch day?". The voice then continued, "Akihabara, New York, LA -- worldwide live broadcast." The voice also hinted that certain VIP guests will be present at whatever is going down in those three cities -- presumably a major launch event...

My understanding is that all of the team, including Hideo Kojima, are planning to go to all of the listed European cities, and then splitting up for Akihabara, New York and LA. It'd be a shame if fans travelled to a city to see Kojima and were met with Ryan Payton or Aki Saito, but I appreciate the idea of the events, anyway.

I'm toying with the idea of travelling to London to go to one of these events and get a couple of games signed (likely Mega CD Snatcher and MG2: SS if I can get my family to send it to me). Is anybody else planning to go see the team?

EDIT- Oops, wrong link. Fixed it, now.

Hey I am still missing MG1, MGS3 and Polcienauts stuff signed!

But I had to be in Japan or the US for those... (or my friend at an E3)

I'm tempted to head down to London myself, with my own copy of Snatcher for the Mega-CD. Maybe we could meet up down there too, that'd be good.

Sure. I'll get in touch if I start seriously considering a trip. It'll be much better to go with a fellow Kojima fan than going alone, or dragging a unenthused friend through most of the country.

Alas, I'm neither near LA nor New York. Too bad I don't have the time (or money) to fly over there.
