Aside from The Black Disc, was a Snatcher soundtrack ever released? And if so, anybody know where I can find it? Or at least download the tracks?

If you mean straight from the SEGA CD game, no official soundtrack exists, but I have pretty much the entire soundtrack in mp3 format on my website.

Just check the MEDIA-MUSIC section towards the bottom.

Does anyone even bother browsing the site first? There were plenty of Snatcher soundtracks and arranged albums.
http://junkerhq.net/Snatcher/index.html

Snatcher "Radio Play" - Radio Play is just an informal title. Its a soundtrack of the PC-88 version with some badly translated voice acting.

Perfect Selection Snatcher and SD Snatcher - Arranged versions of songs from the original PC88/MSX2 Snatcher and SD Snatcher.

Snatcher Sound Clip - Sort of a mini radio drama based on Snatcher released prior to the PC Engine. Given a promotional offer.

Snatcher Zoom Tracks - Music from the PC Engine version of Snatcher. Its not a complete soundtrack, since it lacks the PCM music, but close enough.

Snatcher Joint Disk - A 3-Disc collection featuring the original SCC music from the MSX2 versions of Snatcher and SD Snatcher.

Midi Power Ver. 5.0 - MIDI arrangements from Snatcher and SD Snatcher

Perfect Selection Snatcher Battle - Arranged music from Snatcher and SD Snatcher.

You can find SEGA/MEGA CD tracks here... quality of the tracks are only 56kbps but i think they are just like that in the game (direct feed rip) so you can't find better quality tracks anywhere because there is not anykind of official SEGA CD OST released.

btw, Snatcher2047, i like your site very much, lot's of great media and info about the game.
Also i so like that "trust no one" -intro. Keep up the good work! ;)

Which version of Snatcher has the best music?

I heard the Sega CD version messed up the music from the PC-Engine version.

A lot of the redbook audio music from the PCE version was replaced with completly different, imo worse songs in the Sega CD version.

Here are a few examples from the PCE version.

The chip music however uses mostly the same songs and they sound a lot better in the Sega CD version.

Although I don't think the ones in the Sega CD version are bad at all, I do like the ones from the PC-E version. I also whole heartedly agree with you on the chip tunes. Same tunes but they sound better in the Sega CD version...

There's this track on Policenauts Unreleased Music (but it's a different version, and it's only one minute long), I just re-uploaded it. ;-)

Has anyone got the full length version of
Spoiler:
Harry's Death
music, the Sega CD version? The one on that site is only 40 odd seconds long but the actual music in the game is at least a couple of minutes and it's not just a loop.

Man, that'd make me cry. Again. Couldn't believe it when it happened like "Damn, how could you...?!". I mean...
Spoiler:
he suffered a lot with me, all those intended investigations and odd looks towards him on my first playthrough

I have ALL of the soundtracks, but there are like 2 tracks I'm missing and very curious about!

On : Winbee Neo Cinema Club 3 ~Paradise~ - Song : "Forever Blue"
On : Winbee Neo Cinema Club 2 ~Paradise~ - Song : "Summer-Colored Dream"

Are these new or un-released tracks? or some kind of remixes? or just songs re-named? I'd really like to hear them or get a copy of them somehow!

Forever Blue is a upbeat arrangement of "Theme of Ending"/"新たなる戦い", from MSX/PC88 Snatcher.
夏色の夢 or Summer Colored Dream is an arrangement of "Theme Of Katharine (Part 2)", slow paced and with piano, keys and another synthesized instruments.

there's also the "SNATCHER [Dual Vacuum Mix]" from beatmania Club MIX Original Soundtrack (Disc2) which you probably have...

Are they MIDI or real instruments? I'd love to hear them!
Yeah, I have the Dual Vacuum Mix
