I apologise if this is in the wrong area, but here goes.
I've got a fairly decent collection of the old Acetate trading cards lying in my attic, and while I'm not particularly interested in selling them for the moment, does anyone know if there's a rough price guide available for the things? I've seen a couple of unopened packets going for $65 and $85 on eBay, but I've never seen individual cards... any help is muchly appreciated!

This might help:

I know for sure that I've only seen a handful in a batch lot on eBay, other than the fucking $70 single packets. I've seen the Policenauts cards more often....
Not sure about Yahoo! Auctions Japan though. That's always a great place to start.
Edit: I just went to Yahoo! Auctions Japan, and looked through 27 pages of メタルギアソリッド, and didn't see any cards...

Weren't the MGS Trading Cards used to promote the game in Europe? I wouldn't expect to find them in Japan.

Ehh?? Really? I don't know anything about them... ^^; Sorry~
Hey-- Wait a second. I'm looking at the back of the box, and there's two divisions of bar-codes, one for the US, and the other for Japan...

I've seen them in Britain and Germany when the game first came out, but both shops had some imported items in stock.

Took me a surprisingly long time to find my way back here... there's probably a lesson about bookmarking floating around there...
Anyhoo, sound for the rarity listing, should help with pricing and is probably the best I can hope for in any case! Much obliged, and Merry Belated Christmas!
Also...
I bet the cards are gorgeous
Yes, yes they are! XD Is the reason I'm not interested in selling for the moment... the things are just so darn pretty! XD

If you ever have trouble finding your way back onto here; just Google Search: "Snatcher Policenauts". It's like the third option down!

Or you
could type "JUNKER HQ". Then it's the first option.

I believe these cards never made it in US soil when it was distributed. I knew about the acetate cards only a couple of years ago and started to search for them (unfortunately in e-bay). Unfortunately for me, being in the US, most sellers come from the UK and Australia. so I envy you guys there for being so blessed with lots of MGS merchandise...
I am desperately trying to collect these cards. So hopefully, those who are planning to sell PM me please. But I can't guarantee that it will be a sure sell for you guys coz I'm also working on a budget... But anyone who comes forward is welcome.
