Sega CD load problem

I was just wondering if anyone knows what the deal is with the load on the Sega CD version of Snatcher.

Basically, I'll save with Metal Gear, and then select "Finish" and then when I go back into the game it just says "New Game". I'd just met Napoleon and was on my way to Outer Heaven so I don't exactly want to do all that again.

Can anyone help?

Are you playing on an emulator or the original hardware? If you're playing on a Sega CD/Mega CD, it's probably a RAM problem. If that's the case, you can either try opening up your console and replacing the battery, or buy a RAM cart (which is pretty rare).

Ok. In Gens, go to Options, and then to Sega Cd SRAM size. Change it to 64 kb and start a new game.
In Fusion, boot the game and then load/create a SRAM cart from the file menu.
Good luck!

Maybe someone has a save state they can give Prince so he doesn't have to start over again?
