I played it today, and got to the first shooting sequence with the insectors, and I hit S to use the blaster like it said in the command list, and nothing happened! What the heck do I have to do? And why do you have more things to do than in the SCD/MCD version? Plus this version of the game is making me mad overall so far, because it moves so FRIGGIN' SLOW!

You use shift to use the blaster not s.

Oh. I wouldn't have known. It just said the letter "S", not "Shift".
EDIT:Alright, now how do I fire?

Hold shift, and shoot with the number pad. Easy enough.
And, which emulator are you using? I used BlueMSX, and when I configured it to emulate a TurboR it helped a little.

Overclock the fucker. I used NLMSX and I went in and cranked the Z80 up to AT LEAST 9x. ~12x is where you want to run it, and horrifyingly enough, the point where it becomes tolerably playable. Makes you want a PC88 translation even more! Just remember to bring it back down to 1x for the shooting sequences, or you'll be in for it!
