The voice actors, where are they now?

Just now I thought I'd check out the IMDb, and see their Snatcher section, and most of the games voice actors don't have any other credits, in fact the only ones that had more work were Jeff Lupetin (Gillian), Lucy Childs (Metal Gear) and Susan Mele (Jamie).

Jeff Lupetin's resume:

# Red Faction (2001) (VG) (voice) .... Technician/Scientist

# Septerra Core: Legacy of the Creator (1999) (VG) (voice) .... Lobo
# Snatcher CD-ROMantic (1992) (VG) (voice: English version) .... Gillian Seed/Snatcher
... aka Snatcher (USA: reissue title)
# Hollywood Remembers Marilyn Monroe (1989) (V) (voice) .... Narrator
# The Many Faces of Bond (1989) (V) .... Narrator

Lucy Childs:

# Blink (1994) .... Margaret Tattersall
# Snatcher CD-ROMantic (1992) (VG) (voice: English version) .... Metal Gear/Female Employee
... aka Snatcher (USA: reissue title)
# Hard Promises (1991) .... Edna
# Dillinger (1991) (TV) .... Anna Sage
# Goodnight Sweet Wife: A Murder in Boston (1990) (TV) .... Lamaze Instructor
... aka The Charles Stuart Story

Susan Mele:

# 3 Days... 3 Hours... 3 Minutes... 3 Seconds (1999) .... Danielle
# Snatcher CD-ROMantic (1992) (VG) (voice: English version) .... Jamie Seed/Fortune Teller
... aka Snatcher (USA: reissue title)

I have NEVER heard of ANY of those other titles except for Red Faction. That's it. What about the rest of the cast? What are they doing now?

I hope the MGS4 MetalGear mk.II will get a voice other than Otacon's. It would be nice for western Snatcher fans if it was Lucy Childs'.

Yeah, that'd be neat.

I don't know if it'll have its own voice (I figured it would just sound like whoever was talking to Snake), but I think it would be a nice touch if there was an explosion or something that shook up the MKII's circuits (like after the explosion in Queen's Hospital), and when it first spoke after it, it had the voice of Lucy Childs. Then when Snake asks Otacon what happened, he would say, "Strange... Didn't sound any different from my end. Anyway, Snake..."

As much as I would love it, I don't know if Kojima Productions would make so much effort in finding the original voice actress for such a small reference that so few people would "get". I think that the only way that Lucy Childs' will provide a voice in MGS4 is if mk.II is presented as a concious character with its own voice. It wouldn't surprise me if Otacon says that he modelled his mk.II on a robot from adventure game he was fond of in the 90's, and programmed a similar voice into it.

No, I don't think they'll do it either, but it would be nice if they did.

Well, I wondered if that'll be the case and I came to the conclusion that it won't because :
1) When Snake mentions (in the first trailer) that Metal Gear MK II is remote-controlled, Otacon doesn't add that it's fitted with an A.I.
2) A speaking robot with an A.I. wouldn't fit too well MGS's world (I know there are the Gekkous as well as the A.I. "Colonel" from MGS2, but it's part of the <B>Patriots</B>' technology. Philanthropy is an N.G.O. with few funds).
3) Metal was to appear in MGS1 as an item.
Otacon's biography from the Official Mission Handbook reads that the Metal Gear MK 2 he created was a radio-controlled drone. No mention of an A.I.

I guess he'll say Metal is based on the original Metal Gear and make a joke about how war has changed and that now, Snake must team up with his former enemy.
