Any advice?

Yeah, I'm scouring round for a copy of Snatcher on eBay and I stumbled upon this:

I'm just wondering, is it worth placing a bid?

Of course it's worth placing a bid! This is Snatcher we’re talking about here!

If you're worried about it, ask if the seller can take a photo of the reverse side of the CD to show any scratches. If they refuse to do that, don't bid.

Well, according to the seller there's hardly any scratches on the CD. However, my main thought is in regards to the price. The other two copies of Snatcher up for auction are £40 and £50 respectively, though the latter of those is available on Buy-It-Now.

I think I'll wait for a day and then place a bid, I just hope I get lucky and snag it for less than £30. Unless I get sniped.

Edit: And yeah, sorry about the stretching the page with that link. =P

The price on Snatcher goes up and down the whole time. It seems like a good time to get it, now. I bought mine for around £40-50 and I considered myself quite lucky, as most auctions were pricing it at closer to £90. It's also a good idea to get it quickly, as there's always a chance that Project 'S' will turn out to be Snatcher related, and will make the original more desirable.

Yeah, I'm gonna go for it - even if I don't have a Mega-CD. Haha.

Don't worry, those are much cheaper.

Also, while we're on a similar topic - I've been playing through Snatcher and how many insectors are we roughly talking about at the very end of the game? I'm very close to completing it, it's just the annoying green insectors that stand between me and the truth. =P

Any hints as well?

Update: I'm currently the highest bidder, I've jacked up the bid to £43 (with a maximum bid of £47). Hopefully, no-one else will be daring enough to go that far.

Hopefully.

Essentially the trick is to hit the fire button repeatedly throughout, and worry only about the aiming. Even easier is to get somebody else to hit that button for you.

I think the number changes depending on how well you do in the shooting range in JUNKER HQ.

Well, I got outbid at the last moment by someone.

I bid up to £47 and someone else snagged it for £48.

I've been playing the Sega CD version on emulation on my laptop lately (I have a Sega CD but it's a hassle to set up, plus I can't play it in bed). Anyway, I got to the insector bit in Act 3, then beat it my third try only to get wasted by the Snatchers afterwards. I got flustered after the first (unexpected) hit and lost it. :???:

Just remember to always take them out in the order they appear, as that's the order they'll shoot.
