Hey everyone, so Im new here. I just finished beating all 3 MGS's for about the 500th time when I decided to get Snatcher because I've heard of it before.
So I got it *cough Gens cough*. Anyway I love this game, and have gotten to the part where Metal gear has to leave to transmit because Snow 9 is blocking, and I can't be those damned Green bastards. Any tips?
Was SD Snatcher alot better than the original? I heard there are quite a few differences, is it in english? How could I get it?
Also what's different in the PC version?

I don't think being an insector is anything to aspire toward.

Well, I beat them, and seen the ending of the game, I loved how it was a super long cutscene, hideo never messed around, now I wish I had the other version too, the colors and artwork look different, I'd like to see it, but I don't think it's english eh?

Yup, you've got to love those epic endings. It's all very...well, there's probably some filmmaker or other whose work is comparable... It's a good forty minutes, though, isn't it? And you're hooked for the whole thing, first time through - certainly the sort of quality storytelling his recent stuff has been lacking.
Are you talking about the MSX version then? I'm sure there's a translation of that, isn't there? I remember playing something anyway, possibly SD Snatcher, which is jolly good and worth a look. 'Hideo Never Messed Around' is brilliant - make that your signature or something.

Done. Hah
So your saying I could get the SD Snatcher? I heard theres alot more story and it's changed a lot. I'd really like to see it, is there anyway to see it using Gens?
Or must you have an MSX system?

It is changed around a bit - it's Super Deformed, after all. Gens won't play it, it's not a Sega thing, I think I must have played it on an MSX emulator, probably from a link on this forum somewhere... Nice avatar, by the way - I always liked this image though (and I have this t-shirt!):
