omg, that is so nice. But that tin, is it in regular DVD-case size? Or is it huge like the french press kit?
it is from the MGS4 LE, right?

anything i have a dupe of is fair game to anyone here. i'll be taking an inventory and pics this weekend. I should have 2 extra old snake posters, with TSi showing an interest in one prior.

it's actually blu-ray size, so it's slightly smaller than a dvd size case. and yup, it's part of the Japanese MGS4 LE.
I believe all the bluray discs are the same, region free bluray. We just got different packaging in the states and europe.

Not my latest bid, but I received it and it's super cool:
The promo cd is sealed, and it's in a sealed bag, so it makes it double sealed, awesome

Judging by the lack of artwork on the disc, I'd say this is definitely promotional. I've never seen a PAL Promo Sons of Liberty in a regular jewel case before, so I assume they all came in these tins. Expanding T-Shirts with simple designs are also very common in promotional items. I think I've seen the bag for sale on the German Konami Style shop before, though.

Nice catch

It's an European promotional/limited edition set

MGS2:SOL launch gift set. So far i've seen them sold just by UK sellers plus i never heard about them given out in other European countries, and if my memory doesn't fail i'm quite sure the set (aka all of those items together in gift-pack version) was an UK exclusive. Idk about konamistyle shop though >< but as whole set it was a promo/gift item. I think you need to wet the shirt in order to 'unwrap' it, right? I bought mine already off the tin and it sux :<

Yeah I just saw the set in someone else's collection. I'm not really into PAL games or games that aren't sealed (promos are almost never sealed) but the price made it quite appealing heh. According to him it was available as a gift set at a UK game convention.

I was thinking if there is such a thing as a "double sided frame?" Where I can turn it either way........depending on my mood, haha. But I'm thinking Raiden, I like him. Do you laminate yours first?

Nope, I've never laminated any. I did buy one laminated but have never done it myself. I'd definately display Raiden as well. I've seen doubled sided frames but once you get bigger than 20 inches on either dimension (or both) they get pretty expensive.

Hey no problem man I'm glad you got that. I saw it at $69.99 with just a couple hrs to go I was hoping you'd remember it. Yeah it's getting really had to find it. I think the days of getting it under $100 are gone unless it's a buy-it-now.

About those kubricks, I got a sealed olive drab snake kubrick (don't remember the name exactly) for $100 from a mgs fan on another forum, I know it's quite rare for collectors who are interested in them, if anyone is interested I can trade it as I'm not into mgs figures. I may as well start another thread or put this in the joy division section, I'll see if I get any response here for starters.
I'm mostly looking for any mgs promotional stuff I don't have OR Muse stuff if you have any (Muse, the biggest rock band from the UK of course).

Is it sealed in box or sealed in bag?
I'm just curious as I really wonder how many still exist sealed in box.
