Guys, I'm usually not a stickler but the language is a bit out of hand, can we please try to tone it down a little. Thanks

ahaha, i try not to be stereotypic, so i only aim swear words at 1 person (as a joke) instead of a race.
but of course, likewise, im sure we'll all try to keep this at a minimum.
COME ON GUYS, MGS is PG-13 (fine its not)

I'm not supposed to buy anything, but my paypal account has been growing with my ebay sales, plus I got this gem really cheap!
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0285288287
$9.99 for MGS issue #2 CGC graded 9.8. For those that aren't familiar with comics, a CGC 9.8 is pretty much the highest graded you can find. CGC 9.9 and CGC 10 exist, but it's an incredible rarity. Maybe 1 in 25,000+ graded comics get a cgc 10 let's just say that.
As I collect comics and Metal Gear, and Ocelot is by far my favorite character - this was one hell of a win for me!
When I get some financial matters settled I'd like to contact IDW publishing about buying the original cover art for this comic, but it would come with a hefty price tag. If I got it under $1000 it would be a steal. It would likely be cheaper to commission Ashley Wood to do a drawing for me.

WOW WTF... I offered a bin to that guy too... I asked him to give me a BIN instead, and vs has to own me again.

Could I really claim the have "The Sealed Collection" without these?
I've never seen a box of these in such great condition. And no, the boxes never came sealed/shrinkwrapped only the packs.
I convinced the seller to put up a buy-it-now because the last near mint condition box I saw close for almost double what I paid and I didn't want to go against other bidders. I couldn't have bought these had I not sold about $600 worth of items this weekend on ebay (about $450 today) so I really lucked out.
EDIT: LOL 2 replies made by SM and TSi as I wrote this. They beat me to it!

wow, gawd damn vs, u are just too crazy...
I even asked the guy for a BIN, but I guess you got the upper hand =P. A sealed 24 pack is definitely worth 250$, considering that its 10$ per pack.
wow, now i want you to open them all! you've made my day sad.

Heh, well, keep in mind I offered $225.
If you ask for a buy-it-now and don't give an offer it'll almost never happen. I figure I'd pay $10/pack after shipping so I came up with that number.
I also collect sports cards and I've bought many boxes that I've opened, this will be the hardest to keep sealed.

you can always open them and keep 1 pack sealed... and keep the wrappers (open them NICELY)
then you can say you had a sealed box, but u decided to open 23 of them.

Shit
I may have jumped the gun on these, the seller has 17 more boxes. Unforunately he does have an idea somewhat they should go for, but maybe you guys can score em cheaper than I did. If you guys are serious and want one and for some reason can't msg him through ebay PM me and I'll pass over his contact info.
