No, sorry. Just with versions 1.00 and 1.50. Downgrade is possible from 2.00 and 1.52, but that's it for now.

Place them in the corresponging folders depending of the firmware version of the PSP you have, and run the emulator. Select the ROMS in the emulator menu and run the, using the appropiate values for the ROM you are using.

Can i use Nester that i have on my PC and then drag it over to the game folder?

If it is the PSP version of Nester and your PSP runs homebrew, yes you can. Of course it would only run the NES roms you (legally) provide it.

I recommend yo read PSP related sites for such things, the onels linked at the beginning of this topic.

Can't Load any Save

Hi,

I've tried everything to load a saved game and I'm getting nowhere. Any help would be appreciated.

I am using the English translated 4 disk set from here: http://www.caetano.eng.br/snatcher/

I saved my game to Metal Gear, using disk 1 (not disk 0) and it said it was sucessful.

When booting from disk 0, I get no load request at the graphical "Inset disk 1" screen. At the main menu where you select the SCC cartridge and slot, I get no load request. After the intro it only asks me to "Register Name" or "Default".

Thanks for any insight!

Are you using an unziped rom? or a zipped one? if it is a zipped one that might be the problem.

Hi everybody

I fell in love with that game around 15 years ago, but could'nt play it b/c at that time i couldnt effort an imported console.
Some weeks ago i played Metal Gear AC!D and there was a Card named Gillian Seed.
Strange, but after all these years i suddenly remembered this game.
Since then I played the sega cd version on my PC, until i found out that there is a way to play it on my PSP!

My only Problem is: i only know this one Site where the Translated Version is (the link somewhere in this thread), and these files seem to be corrupt. I couldnt open it with any Winrar/winzip Version i have, i always get the "unexpected end of file" error.

So if anybody can be so kind and lead me to a place where i can obtain this wonderful Gem, i would really appreciate it.

Thx
and forgive me my bad engrish

Not on the PSP...
Only the MSX version runs on PSP.
As far as i know there is no Sega cd emulator for PSP yet.

I think it's finally time for people to decide whether they'd rather have portable versions of the MSX games or the PlayStation games. The PSP is to have an official PlayStation emulator, soon. You'll be able to download games for it, for a small fee. MGS might as well be confirmed, but we'll have to wait to see if you'll be able to download Special Missions, Snatcher and Policenauts.

I'd personally stick with the Sega CD version. The PSP version is VERY slow to load and has some small graphical glitches. Not to mention the control issues which makes it a pain during the shooting sequences.

On top of that it's also the old version of the game without the excellent voice acting, CD quality sound, or the third act. All of these can be found on the Sega CD version which also happens to be the boards favorite if you take a look at some of the older poles.

There is no 3rd act?
Ok i'll stick with the sega cd version then.
Thanks for your quick answer.

I'm sure that if they give us MGS they'll give us the Integral version, which would include the VR Missions disc.

I think Integral will be available to the Japanese market, but I'm not sure if they'll let you buy it over here.
