We're down to like... a little under 30. 26, but I'm unsure about one thing right now, so 26-27 let's say. These ones are gonna start to be a little trickier, so don't expect the rest of the list to drop as fast as that.

Silly question:
will the patch be easy to add to the game for Mac users like me?

Uh... huh. You know I've got a Macbook right here and I never even thought to try.
Patching the ISO should be okay on Mac, yeah. Scarboy told me there weren't any great Mac PSX emulators though. Honestly, I just never tried it. What emulator are you planning to play it on?

I'm not sure if this question has been answered before or not, but here it is anyway.
Will the Beta version of the patch be made available to the public and/or users of JunkerHQ Forums?
Oh, and fucking fantastic job guys; everyone on these boards and beyond appreciates the tireless amount of effort you've put into this patch

No, I'm afraid not. We'll be testing it ourselves first, then we'll have some friends test it, in order to get some outside input.

It's not gonna be fun, anyway.
I like Policenauts a lot having played it, but in testing, I've seriously seen every scene twice at the very least and realistically, a lot of the problem cutscenes I have seen in excess of thirty times.
I am soooooo goddamned sick of the Prologue, you can't even imagine it, and my Japanese isn't strong but I'm pretty sure I could recite it phonetically.
You also don't want the stilted experience I had - or may have - in beta testing. The game seriously crashed in the middle of important scenes and very cool shit in our early builds of the game. Nothing sucks more than that. You might have to wait a bit longer, but you'll be getting a better product out of it.

Here's a shot of the game running on a PS1.

.... it woulda been way funnier if you hid the PSX from view and said it was running on the 2600.

This is the guy I bought mine from. It took awhile since he's shipping from Japan, but it got there.
$22.80 isn't so bad. Well, maybe for a PS1 game it is. I dunno.

My copy fell of a desk recently and the case broke. It almost makes me want to buy a new copy of the game

I got my copy cheap from ncsx or something like that (can't remember). I'm pretty sure that it only cost 25 bucks or so. Not bad for an imported game.

I was lucky enough to have one friend go to Japan for business and another go for his honeymoon...
They brought me back Snatcher CDRomantic, PSX Policenauts The Best, and the ZOE premium package.
That Policenauts got back to me in September, and I was nervous then that I wouldn't have it in time for the patch har, har!

It's amazing how one man's incompetency fucks up literally everyone on the globe; even us humble gaming enthusiasts. Seriously; he started two wars and single-handedly broke America, thus the economy, thus the entire world.

For those wanting to play Policenauts on their "unlocked" PSPs...
I'm working on a little guide for how to do this, from the disc image conversion to adding a PSP menu, in anticipation of the translation release. I have put together a customized PSP menu package already with background music. I have tested, and the Japanese version of the game plays okay (I have played very little because I don't speak Japanese.) and you should be able to swap to the second disc without trouble.
This is what the menu and icon look like:
I am using a modified version of the wallpaper on Policenauts.net. But, because of how the PSP menu is laid out, the image has to be flipped. It would be great to get a hold of the original Photoshop file so that I could properly flip the image but keep the logo intact. Who could I e-mail to get this? The retouching I did is a little messy.
I'm refining the steps to make it easier to understand and will post again in a couple days so you can try it out yourself.

Woah, that looks nice!!
Could you make a video to show how it looks and sounds like?
IS there any way to change the smal image to an animated one?

Thanks, but the art is all Policenauts.net. I just manipulated it a bit.
Yes, I can make a video later, but I have no idea as to the output quality =)
As far as an animated icon, yes it's possible, but I thought it would be best just to have the game cover as the icon.
