If you search for "Metal Gear promo", I find that helps. Or "Metal Gear E3" maybe?
It'll crop up, they always do mate.
Yep, the one that TSi won. Wasn't it on TGS it was given out?

Hmm.. not counting some junk & other stuff i bought to resell ...
Metal Gear Solid 4 EUR sealed OST:
http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... :IT&ih=018
buy-it now price.
Silver Toyfair Figure finally xD
http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... :IT&ih=025
i was the first bidder but of course i was expecting someone sniping. But dang, most of USA auctions end at an insane time for my timezone (1-6am!), so i just putted my max bid since the begin and f*k it if it would be gone for an even higher price

(and yes violentsnake i know it's the double of my bid for the last time, but i couldn't stay up until late neither for that one xD no hate, no worries /meh )
Another set of 12x Metal Gear Ac!d cells by that guy! @RESELL!
http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie ... :IT&ih=011
From YJ:
http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w29281607
one of those promotional MGS4 fans (i noticed there are at least 5 types with different kanji on them).
http://page18.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/w29459298
a set of 10x MGS4 promotional cardboard bags, partial reselling of course

I was going to bid on that Silver Solid Snake to get another one, but that bag looked really janked up with the hole in it an all. So I let that one go. Are you going to open it? Or keep it somewhat sealed? I'd keep it sealed.

Well, a sealed psp premium plus pack closes tmr, and even at 62,000Y I still planned to outbid whoever has the top bid on it. However, I can't bid on it because I just spend a large chunk or my MG budget for the month (yes, it does appear specifically on my monthly budget).
http://www.rinkya.com/twview.pl?URL=htt ... /w29372801
46,500Y
The Metal Gear Solid 4 theater style poster, one of only 50 in the world signed by Kojima, Shinkawa and Kikuchi. Also comes with some sort of flyer or something from the signing event. This is the most expensive Metal Gear item I've ever purchased, and if someone told me before I entered the hobby I'd spend this much on a poster I probably never would have entered it heh. I'm going to put this and my MGS3 theater style poster side-by-side in matching frames to replace these:
Which I'll be putting up for sale. They're pretty banged up and I used pins in the corners (so there ARE holes) so they'll be quite cheap. I think whitetrashhayno already has dibs, plus I always give repeat customers priority.
With the influx of premium+ psps on the market (with I have a feeling more will follow) I think I made the wise choice to hold off on it and get this as these will surely dissappear from the market completely in the very near future.

That is like
432.7593 USD? That is like, nothing =S. Well it's sick for a poster, but i mean the LE PS3 is way more expensive, right?

Yeah for sure. I want a LE PS3 but I'm hoping Sony will announce a price drop so I can get it cheaper. The problem with buying it now is it will descrease in value. When the PS3 is $199.99US one day there's no way the Metal Gear one even sealed will retain it's $500 price tag (for the LE one).
Take the foxhound gamecube for example. I believe it was $300 when it came out, now you can get it for $175 or so in brand new condition.
The only MG console with true value is the premium+ psp pack. There's only 2500 of those compared to 30,000 LE PS3s (10,000 for each region)

That's the one that is 10k/region. The other one is just a regular PS3 with MGS4 (regular edition) inside the box.

Well, I know it's impossible to top the MGS4 signed poster I just bought, but I did score another gem....
I scored this bad boy for 510Y LOL. So for $5 I get a poster I used to see sell for $80-120 a few months ago. I'm almost happier about this purchase because I love a good deal.
Well, it's 8:30am Saturday and this has already been a fricken expensive weekend. My auction watchlist has 11 more items I have my eye on, so there'll likely be another addition or two before the weekend is done. Many items I watch are just because they're at a crazy low price but often shoot up before auction close. Although sometimes you snag a cool item for a few bucks
What's funny is my poster collection didn't really start until June of this year. I didn't have a single poster until then. My wife is looking at houses tommorrow while I watch football, so if we buy a bigger place I'm turning one room into a Metal Gear "museum" and will be able to frame and put up everything. It'll pretty much be the only place in the house where I'll be.

I'm quite intrigued about the yahoo auctions that you guys are looking to. I tried going there but the JAPANESE texts pretty much dissuades me from searching further as I don't understand a freakin word out of it.
Is there a way to somehow, convert those texts to english??? I mean, what are those pop-up "language packs" for that sometimes appear when I visit a foreign website? Is that what it's for? Sorry, I'm showing my true computer il-literacy now!

lance, go to "buying from yahoo japan" thread and check it out!
id say go to an english auction help site... like rinkya or japanauctioncenter and then type in "metal gear" and then it will display everything in japanese, but then you can press "translate"
