Ive tried playing the translated MSX version of snatcher so i can engoy an older version, but jeez... the load times are extremly slow, is there any way to make it more playable?

How about just getting the PC88 version? It's far superior to the MSX version in every single way possible.

Oh i would... but i have no easy way to do that. I cant even find it to download anywhere... yes, i know ebay but i would like to play it now and i wont be able to buy it anytime soon

I played all the way through the MSX version, and I just turned the frameskip up to 6. I had to read quickly, but it really sped up the load times. I think that the slowness has something to do with the translation. Anywho, if you do use the frameskip, then make sure that you turn it back to 0 for any action scenes.

Nope, the japanese original is just as slow. I guess they did a bad job in porting the original PC88 version, because SD Snatcher runs fine with acceptable load times.

Changing the emulated system from MSX2 to MSX Turbo F helps a lot. And the translation group (guy?) hacked the ctrl key to fast forward the game.
